Today we’re going to take a look at the Toto C100 Washlet, a standard option offering from Toto.
While there is nothing sexy about this bidet toilet seat, it is a solid choice among the bidet users community.
As a leader in the bathroom space, Toto is no slouch when it comes to bidets. The Washlet C100 is a great display of their talent, even if it’s not a “top-shelf model.”
We’ll cover the details behind some of what makes the Washlet C100 worth your time. If it’s a detail we care about then we think you’ll care about it too. Features should never be looked over, especially on bidet toilet seats.
Firstly, let’s cover our opinion before we get into the details.
Overall, we enjoyed the Toto C100 Washlet. It is straightforward, easy-to-use, and provides a number of great features at a price that competes.
Ease of use is something we at Toiletops.com take seriously. Most of our bidet reviews come with an emphasis on how easy they can be sat on and used without the need for “training.” Whether it is the remote or setting it up, nothing should hold consumers back from the wonders of a bidet.
The more people unafraid to use a bidet, the better!
Features, Features, Features…
In any case, the features on the Washlet C100 are plentiful. It has the standard front and rear wash, soft-close seat, and 1 year limited warranty.
The water warming method to the C100 is a tank reservoir model. This gives you immediate warm water the moment you press the button. Downside is you eventually run out. Don’t be too greedy with that warm water!
Unlike some of the bidet toilet seats we’ve reviewed before (like the Brondell Swash 900 for example), the Toto C100 Washlet Bidet has a warm air dryer. There is also an air deodorizer and water pre-mist feature that differentiates itself from its competition.
If looks could kill…
Not that you could actually die from looking at it, but the Toto Washlet C100 isn’t the best-looking bidet out there.
Take for example the Coco Bidet 9500R. This is a very sharp-looking bidet that is as comfortable as it is sleek. The Toto C100 Washlet, however, lacks quite a bit in comparison.
But looks aren’t everything!
We’ll discuss the details below but here is a quick list of what you get with the Toto Washlet C100 Model:
- Front and Rear Wash
- Tank Reservoir Water
- Water PreMist
- Air Deodorizer
- Soft-close Seat
- Heated Seat
- Warm Air Dryer
- 1 Year Limited Warranty
While these are the major features, there are additional details we will discuss throughout our Toto C100 Washlet review.
Against other models we’ve reviewed, the Toto C100 Washlet really impresses us. For less than $400, you’re going to get a bidet toilet seat that has the amenities of a $600+ model.
While the warranty isn’t as long as we’d like to see, there aren’t many other reasons to knock the Toto C100 Washlet Bidet. Sure, it’s ugly. And yea, that might be something to knock it for.
But last I checked, we aren’t marrying the bidet. We just need it to do it’s job.
We recommend the the C100 Washlet. If you need more details, keep on reading!

Adjustable Rear and Front Wash
Controlling the rear and front wash is very easy on the Toto Washlet C100. Rather than needed to toggle between two settings with the same button, you instead have individual choices. The rear wash is separate the front wash.
You even get two choices for your rear wash: soft wash and normal.
Like reported on our list of heated toilet seat bidets, the Toto Washlet C100 has a heated seat!
Once you’ve sat down, you can easily control the temperature of the seat so as not to be too warm. The seat will then remember that temp for the next time around.
On the topic of warmth, the C100 has a warm air dryer feature. This is a big differentiator among the competition because many bidet toilet seats at this price don’t have this feature.
The last warm point to make is in regards to the water warming feature. As we mentioned, the tank reservoir heating method provides immediate warm water without the wait. It’s not unlimited so hopefully no job lasts longer than that.
However, it would take a lot to go through all the warm water. It’s no negative to us, really.
Toto makes great nozzles for their bidet toilet seats. Known as the “wand,” these nozzles pack quite a few features into one simply piece.
The wash is gently aerated and has controllable temperature options. It’s also a dual action spray and has oscillating capabilities too.
The PreMist feature is an interesting one and one that should NOT be overlooked. What the PreMist feature does is wet the bowl as you sit down on the toilet. The PreMist prevents excrement from sticking to the side of the bowl. This keeps the bowl cleaner than without it.
It also saves the elbow grease when detailing your toilet.
Passive Use Features
Unlike attachable bidets, you get a lot more perks like passive features when you go with a bidet toilet seats. These are the little things that really justify the luxurious feeling of a toilet seat bidet like the Toto Washlet C100 toilet seat.
Soft Close Lid and Seat
Always a nice feature, thanks to Toto’s SoftClose seat.
“But Toiletops.com, did you feature this earlier?” — You.
Yes, however, the toilet seat stays heated 24/7. So when you aren’t using it, the seat stays warm so it’s ready for you the next time you need it.
Having a 24/7 heated seat means you need to save energy where you can. Once the Toto Washlet C100 is done being used, it powers down to low power mode which essentially keeps the tank water and seat warm when you’re away.
A straightforward remote is something we love. That’s what you get with the Toto Washlet C100.
From left to right, you’ll see:
- Universal Stop
- Pressure Adjustment
- Rear Oscillating On/Off
- Soft Rear Oscillating On/Off
- Position Adjustment
- Front Wash
- Dryer On/Off
From there, you’ll see the temperature control along with toggles for the seat, water, and air dryer. The last buttons are the wand cleaning toggle and energy saver toggle. All the way to the right are signals as to which selections are on.
Toto C100 Washlet Price
As mentioned earlier, the C100 is typically less than $400 on the market. With a mid-tier, the Washlet C100 is a top-tier bidet toilet seat to buy.
The Toto Washlet C100 comes with a 1 year limited warranty. Keep in mind some places may not accept returns, as bidets are hygienic products.
